"Rebel Wessex" shot in Hill End

Indianic Pictures is proud to have finished production on it's latest project "Rebel Wessex", a short film written and directed by Sarah-Mace Dennis, one of four participants chosen for Metro Screen and Screen Australia's Raw Nerve, a program for emerging filmmakers who have not previously had a credit of writer or director for broadcast.

We had a small but extremely talented crew, including Evan Papageorgiou our Director of Photography and Willis Yee who was gaffer & key grip. We should thank Digital Logic for the lighting equipment and Paul Jackson at Panavision for the camera gear and their ongoing support of our projects, we are forever grateful and appreciative. It is fantastic to have the support of one the film industry's heavyweights. Special thanks also to our sponsors at Hill End Gold Limited, The Royal Hotel Hill End, and Hill End Ranch for supporting the project.

"Rebel Wessex" is a film that explores the invisible places of perception -  things that are not seen or heard, only sensed through the strange force they leave inside our consciousness. It is the first experimental film project for Indianic Pictures, starring Emma Galliano & Mike Duncan. We had a fantastic three days of intense shooting in Hill End a Historic site owned by the Department of Environment and Climate Change managed by the Parks and Wildlife Division. Parks and Wildlife are acknowledged for the ownership of the properties and the appreciation of the use of.
